super sento

Yesterday, I went to this great sento (public bath) in Sengawa on the Keio Line called Yukemuri no Sato. It is really big with three small outdoor baths, four indoor baths, sauna, steam room and treatment rooms for akasuri (Korean body scrub) and gambanyoku (kid of sauna where you lie on heated stones). It is also very cheap--500 yen entry on week days and the gambanyoku is only 700 yen (compared with much much higher prices elswhere). It isn't a gay place at all, but there was plenty of hot ass on show. Of course there are also a lot of older guys--they seem to like to lie on the tatami section outdoors showing the sky their cocks--but there were quite a lot of young guys too, mostly studenty types. It was fun checking out their cute bubble butts. I totally recommend going if you like onsen and public baths.

For me the ultimate on-sen experience in Tokyo is at Toshimaen in Nerima. Along with the Hydropolis water park is the great bath with genuine geothermal water pumped up from hundreds of feet below Tokyo. Tokyo has no hot springs of its own, so why not dig till you find that precious naturally heated water. So they did. I'm not much for hot springs in July, but I loved Toshimaen in February.
