Following speculation online that he appeared in gay porn as a student, pro soccer player Riku Matsuda (松田 陸) issued a statement denying the claims. Despite his statement, many people still believe he appeared in two gay videos when he was a student.
Matsuda is alleged to have appeared as 武山翔太郎 Takeyama Shoutarou in two gay porn videos from Beast Studio, released in December 2012. The videos in question are:
- Beast 交渉すること6ヶ月ついに落ちた現役ラガーマン!! ("At Last After Negotiating for 6 months the Active Duty Rugby Man Gave In!!")
- Beast Premium Disc 097
Matsuda issued a statement saying "that he is not the man in the videos and that this is slander. He has apologized to his team and those who know and support him for these rumors. He vows to carry on as a footballer, with dignity, in light of this scandal."
Matsuda plays for Cerezo Osaka as a defender and previously played for FC Tokyo. His father is Indonesian and his mother is Japanese.
Several sites have done analysis to compare images of the guy in the videos with photos of Riku and they allege they are the same person. What do you think?
